The wainscot material and design was perfect for our project.

The section of the house [18.5 ft x 25 ft] was completed in 1872 - the last redecoration [previous owner] had dark brown (almost black) wood plank walls floor to chair-rail and an off-tan wallpaper above that. After removing the wood planks and refinishing the walls- painted the lower half and the wainscot an ivory and the upper half a light blue. The room is now much 'brighter' and less gloomy.

Perfect Baseboard

Material is more consistent than wood, easier to work with, lighter than Wood but dent resistant as well, holds primer and paint better than wood (no surface fuzziness after first coat), is flexible enough to handle some wall and ceiling imperfections.
