nervous at first

well i was nervous because of some bad reviews on some web sites. well i don't know if i got one of the good ones or maybe it was tested when it was refurbished, but mine works great. i have a 3 car garage and it was 37Deg in there i started this up and it ran for about 1 minute and went out it gave me an error code so i tried to start it up again and after about 1 minute it did it again. i thought i was going to have to return it . so i looked up the code and it was low fuel pressure problem. i tried to start it again and after about 2 minutes i got a different trouble code. i was getting frustrated so i went back to the manual and had to use the reset button. i was almost ready to pack it up and send it back but i tried again and it worked great. i think there was air in the fuel system and fuel pump witch had to work its way out. i have used it a bunch now and it is awesome, it will get my 3 car shop from 37 deg to 57 deg in just over 1/2 hr. my shop is a steal building with thin foam insulation with 9 foot walls. the only complaint i have is it is loud!! when it starts up it starts up at full speed, after about 2 minutes it reduces the fan speed and it is a little quieter. you can hit the up arrow and it will go back to full speed. i keep mine on level 2. you have a choice 1-5. so my final rating is it is great if you don't mind the noise and don't get frustrated wile getting the fuel system primed. i used diesel fuel and i don't get any off odors once it is running. it does smoke a little right at the start and when you shut it off but not when it is running.

Reconditioned or new either way it's a great heater. Love the fact that it can be used with a low burn because it is quiet when running low. Not that it's overwhelming on high. I would recommend it to anyone.
