Alka-Seltzer Plus Powerfast Fizz Severe Cold & Flu Medicine, Citrus Effervescent Tablets, 20 Count

This is my go-to product for most aches, pains, colds, sniffles, sore throats etc. Over many, many years of usage, it has been the most consistently effective of over the counter medicines for the everyday problems that don't rise to needing medical attention but do require something to still the problems. I'm specific here about the upper strength one for colds and flu for, I feel, it has some antihistamine that dries noses and coats throats. No matter where I go I have a packet slipped in my billfold 'just in case' which, often has been of assistance to a friend, fellow traveler or another suddenly found suffered. As with everything, some, few, may not tolerate it and, of course, it's not wise to give to the young without a release from a medical person. I buy it, endorse it, use it, believe in it, feel the maker is reliable....try it when you need it to find out for yourself.

These work really for me and my husband. Sometimes you feel a head cold coming on, the aches and pains, this helps a lot. It also helps at night with sleeping.
