Puffy AmiYumi are a Japanese J-Pop phenomenon. Formed by Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura in 1996 an anarchic and extremely entertaining mixture of influences including the Supremes, the Roches, the Ramones, Stereolab, the Who, and even Black Sabbath. quot;Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumiquot; is the soundtrack for their highly successful animated Cartoon Network series of the same name. (Series two currently features on the CN in England & Europe and a range of merchandise from the Mattel toy company has recently been launched) Arrivederici Baby provide Puffy AmuiYumi with their first European release.
