These Nufoot ballet style slippers are the best I've found for my foot issues. I have edema in my lower legs, ankles and feet, so I need low-profile, flexible footwear that stays on without pinching. I need thin soles that help circulation in my feet, are easy to wash along with casual clothes, but also wearable outdoors. The Nufoot soles can take all but sharp surfaces, and since they conform to the foot so well, they fit easily into sandals. They also dry quickly, and I started with two pairs, but frankly there are such pretty designs and are so affordable that I want lots more than I need. Warning: If you wear size 7, buy Nufoot Large 8-10, as the Medium was very tight and cut into my skin.
