I purchased the iPad through Walmart, not a marketplace seller, after reading other reviews that Walmart's refurb items are of much higher quality, and I must say I agree! Out of the box the iPad appeared to be brand new; no scratches or marks anywhere and it was packaged with all manufactures supplies which looked untouched. The iPad works flawlessly. I highly recommended going refurb through Wal-mart if you want to save a few $$$ over a brand new one.
