We have an elderly cat that started having accidents in our family room. Cat pee and carpet are not a good combination. We bought several of these kennel mats to put down in the family room and they have been amazing. If my cat has an accident it is easy to wipe up and the carpet underneath is protected. We plan to get a new dog in the future, so will leave the mat down until we know for sure the dog is housebroken. I would highly recommend this mat to anyone wanting to protect their carpet from pet accidents. It is made out of good quality material, but is not thick and bulky when laid out. It rolled out nicely and lays completely flat. Spills wipe up easily. I got the black mat, so it does show pet hair, but it sweeps up easily with a stick vac. It is a good investment and much cheaper than having to buy new carpet.

I was looking for waterproof flooring for my puppy's pen that she could not eat! This is the perfect item. Previously, I've been using the gym mat squares that connect, but she can eat the edges of those and even tear holes in the middle of them. She pays no attention to this item. It's beautiful, thin, tough, and very very easy to clean. It looks nice in my living room. Highly recommend.
