Best bird feedervever! So easy to fill. Great feeder. Bad thing the squirrels do too!

This is a really nice glass and metal feeder. The top unscrews, making it easy to fill from the top. The large base keeps it very steady while sitting on the table to be filled. This feeder comes with a plastic ring, which can be dropped in and turn it into a thistle seed feeder. I purchased it to be a mealworm feeder, because of the large openings at the base (without the drop in plastic ring). It works PERFECTLY as a mealworm feeder! The freeze dried mealworms come out the holes no problem. The attractive green glass kinds of masks the mealworms, so you don't feel you are staring at worms. The base has holes drilled in it, so it will not collect rainwater. Best of all, this feeder is large enough to hold an entire 7 oz bag of Kaytee freeze dried mealworms. I really liked being able to put an entire bag in the feeder. The freeze dried mealworms smelled like peanuts, with no objectionable smell. This feeder is manufactured in China, by an American owned company.
