I installed this lighting kit in my garage..It always seemed to be dark and hard to see my way around the garage in the evening hours when it's dark. It was easy enough to install the lighting kit. It only took me an afternoon to get the lighting kit installed. After the kit was installed. My garage is really lit up now. I feel safer now when I'm out in my garage in the dark evening hours I feel much safer. Now that I have bright lighting in my garage. I wonder why I didn't put more lighting up a long time ago. I rate this product with five stars.

These were easy to install. The only thing I didn't like is that it came with these adhesive strips which seem to serve no purpose, and the manufacturer's website was no help at all. I do like the fact that these came with push-in wire connectors; they worked so well. Just make sure you correctly insert the wires where they are supposed to go. Once you connect them in the connectors, you won't be able to take them out without compromising the metal leads. The lights give you three ports per wire. More than enough. Just make sure everything is the way it is supposed to be. It came with an adhesive backing on the metal wings that keep it against the ceiling. Overall, I'm happy. One thing I really loved about these cans was the fact that the metal was flexible - the Romex clamps I mentioned for filling in the knockout - those have to be tightened down, and likely you'll be in between studs in the ceiling so you can't get a drill in between them. But, you can bend the metal slightly that's attached to the can so you can bring the screws down to the drill/screwdriver. Fantastic! Couldn't be happier with these lights, they're a breeze to install. Just stick the templates to your ceiling for a layout, cut the holes with an adjustable hole saw from your local big box store. By feeding the wires from hole to hole you only need to go into your attic once to hookup the first one of the chain! Perfect for the DIY homeowner, my wife and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're considering adding additional lighting to a room, you owe it to yourself to check these out.
