Verified Purchase

At first I thought they sent the wrong movie. The cover is different than the one that is displayed and it does not say widescreen version on it. However, it is widescreen and all the extras are there. It seems as if the cover was changed to look more like the Jeff Bridges version and it is a drawing or CGI, rather than actual stills as shown in the thumbnail. They can't "improve" The Duke. That said, this is one of Wayne's finest performances. He outdoes himself and still shows his hand at comedic flair. Definitely an Academy Award winning portrayal and so well deserved.

Great Old movie

My husband and I enjoyed watching True Grit (again) after not seeing it for years. It is so very nice to watch a movie that has a real plot and full of adventure and funny too. Of course most of John Wayne movies are family friendly anyway.
