Artic GOD
Normally I buy the 5k GE air conditioners because it's a brand name I trust. They've always done a good job. But this time they were out and only had Artic King. I spent the extra $30 for digital controls because I don't like mechanical controls. Let me tell you... this Artic King is more like an Artic GOD! The fan is WAY stronger than the GE models and the directional controls push air flow WAY better than the spin style on the GE models. I don't have a huge bedroom. Roughly 10x15. But this unit cooled the room down quick out of the box. My wife has to stay cool because of her anxiety and this unit is awesome. I will never buy another GE again if Artic King is available. Well worth the $$ for what you get.

Great for the Money
Love this AC unit- we bought three of them for our house and have been using them for a couple of weeks. We have them in our master bedroom and two upstairs offices. My fiancé told me the other day that he had to shut it off for a little bit because it got too cold! So if you need a good AC for a better deal, I would recommend this one.

Id recommend this air conditioner. It keeps my tiny studio very comfortable. I love that it comes with a remote to adjust the temperature and or mode as necessary. The best part is, it wont kill your electric bill, set it on a temperature thats comfortable for you , click the energy saver button ... and the ac unit will only run when it needs to . I love it! Has made my apartment so comfortable.
