This is a good bar to assist me while walking to another room as I have four of these placed in doorways so that I can hold onto until I catch my breath. I have had problems with the Phillips head screws stripping before fully seated. I remedied that by using hex head screws so that I could use a nut driver to fully seat them. Yes, I did drill pilot holes before using the factory furnished screws.
