Good quality but small

These plate holders are good quality compared to others I've purchased. They are, however, small for a standard size paper plate. If you are ok with the paper plate sitting on top of the holder and not really locked in, they're fine.

I purchased these to replace some I had from years ago that the last one was falling apart. I like them for holding paper plates or dinner plates that might be warm from the microwave. These seem to be more "raw" in nature and by this I mean that they spread splinters rather easily. But now that I am aware of this I am more careful in handling them. I don't recall my older ones doing this but maybe it was bcause they were old.
