My son is in a 4t/5t and it just fit him. If your child is a little big for their age, (height, weight or even broad shoulders) I would go up a size. Other than that, the material is not bad. It's a little thin so you will still need to have clothes under it but that's normal for this kind of costume. Overall, I'm satisfied!
