[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been remodeling our home over the winter and I'm so glad I got this Stone Creek 5 Light Linear Chandelier by Hunter. My biggest concern was we have vaulted ceilings and weren't sure the base would fit. Also, another concern would be level. I was so in love with the design and it fits my style perfectly we went ahead and took the gamble. Safe to say, we won! Insulation of the chandelier was easier than we had anticipated. We had never installed a light fixture before, but it was so easy my husband look like a pro. The chandelier comes with dow rods for each side some short and some long. On one side of the rods, you're gonna feed through a bunch of wires, once you get the correct length you desire. The decorative circle rods are separate and you feed the cords through a mesh. I wish we would have figured out beforehand to precut the wires before doing this because it did shred the mesh. luckily there was an excess of mesh, so we just fed it through a little more to hide the part that ripped off. So that was completely human error, precut your wires because they give you a lot of extra wiring. Also, another tip since you're gonna be feeding the wires through the rods it's a lot easier to take off the metal thread at the end and then run it through after you pull the wires through. To make this work on our vaulted ceiling, my husband threaded the rods to the base but not all the way so this way it could dangle and there's plenty of give to do this. Also, there was some silver showing but we just painted it black and you can't even tell. This is a two-person job, but my husband and I finished it in about an hour. The whole chandelier is made of a lite rod iron, with a detailed rustic brushed finish. Then we just put in soft white E26 LED Edison light bulbs, that we purchased separately. Now we have this beautiful chandelier that completely changes the whole perspective of our dining area.
