First of all, I don't have a lot of items that need covering but whenever I do, I always go to The Cover Store and they never disappoint.We got our first cover for the patio heater from them thirteen years ago. It only covered the top (our choice at the time) and recently we had to replace it. It protected the heater unit all these years and aside from the occasional spider web in the pilot burner, the heater has worked perfectly...and still does. We went for the full cover this time and it is amazing in its looks and function. The website walked us through the measurements, colors and design quickly and easily. When we placed our order, we were advised when the item would be available and shipped and it arrived within the window promised. The cover went on as if they had tailor made it specifically for our heater, which given the skill in their website design, I guess that is true. It is a simple product with quality findings and design such as vents that are covered with mesh to keep out the bugs and flaps to keep out the rain. The zipper glides open and shut without the slightest snag or jam over its 8-10 foot path. It is almost entirely covered by an ingenious flap that allows the slider to travel freely yet keeps out rain water. The zipper travels vertically from the bottom of the heater where the tank is to the rim of the heat reflector dish and then makes a 90 degree turn to travel along the rim long enough to create an opening to allow the cover to easily slip off the umbrella-like top. The zipper easily makes the tight turn and the tailoring about the turn area is such that there is no bunching or unsightly wrinkles to call attention to the area. The fit of the cover is such that it doesn't catch the wind. The covered heater is nearly as streamlined as the uncovered heater. I was especially grateful for this a few nights ago when our wind was quite gusty. The material is lightweight, strong, water-repellant and very smooth. Almost like silk. Does not catch dirt. The bottom has a cord to cinch the cover tightly against the propane tank housing. When off the heater, the cover easily rolls into a very small bundle and all the wrinkles shake out on reinstalling. If you get the impression that I'm really happy with this cover...you are absolutely correct.
