Very happy with the product. I purchased a generic CAI on the web that came with a conical filter for my 1989 Ford Mustang GT. It was good, but it was lacking. I couldn't find this particular K&N filter in any of the auto supply stores so I went to K&N's website. Pricing was spot on and shipping was free. As for the performance impact, I have not been to the dyno to see the changes. It's just great to have a quality product from a company I can trust under the hood.
