Very short wearing tires on a steering axle.

First let me state this car is a 2006 Nissan Altima I purchased new. It has just over 310,000 miles on the odometer and still runs/operates well. It has had many sets of tires installed over the years by myself as I am a journeyman mechanic. There has never been a set on this car ran less than 40,000 miles which is the interval I use for change. This front set has not made 15,000 miles and the front tires are very thin with cord starting to show. Alignment is good and rear tires are wearing acceptably well. I have never installed mismatched tires on this car but will NOT purchase another pair of these to run the set out. Most likely will change all four tires and cut my losses. No, I do not recommend these tires at all.
