This allows for you to reach the zipper without needing a ladder. The insert is slid into the awning roller and rolls up with the awning.     • Measure your awning fabric — You don't want to order a shade that's bigger than your awning
    • Unroll your awning and measure from the roller tube to the ground

Love it

We are southern Florida the weather is perfect. But the morning sun was brutal while we were outside cooking and eating breakfast. The shade cut down the blinding sun and made it some what cooler. We have not experienced it in rain or storms yet
