• This Traditional Donabe casserole hot pot bowl measures 2.75" tall. It is 6.75" in pot diameter and when the side handles are included, it measures 8" Wide. The cooking pot has a 32 Fl Oz capacity. The product is made in Japan. Microwave and Dishwasher Safe.
• This Traditional Donabe casserole hot pot is made of high quality earthen clay with a high heat resistant glaze that enables to the pot/bowl to be placed directly on stove top for a perfect even cooking. Lead (Pb) free, cadmium (Cd) free, arsenic (As) free. Premium stoneware (ceramics) made from fine clay, glaze-fired twice with a natural glaze. Thermal Resistance: -4F TO 932F (-20C TO 500C). The coaster base is made of wood.
• Donabe, the Japanese word for clay pot, is a highly versatile and simple cooking vessel that is essential to every kitchen. Great for preparing traditional Japanese meals like mixed rice dish, noodles, soup, casseroles. This cookware can be used over an open flame or in an oven. Just make sure there is always some liquid in the base so your casserole does not burn.
