I got this to block knitted dishcloths, and with its perfect size, handy grid lines and great value - it is ideal for that purpose. It easily would have (and should have) received a 5 star review but for one glaring problem... the adhesive used to affix the label to the front. It's annoying enough when labels are excessively difficult to remove from any item, but at least with a little elbow grease they're usually as good as new. To use adhesive (albeit a small amount of light adhesive in this case) right in the middle of a foam surface that is made for YARN is mind boggling. The board comes wrapped in plastic - so why couldn't the label be attached to the plastic instead of the board? Or why couldn't the label be attached to the underside rather than the grid side of the board, where it wouldn't matter? So consequently you're left to try to rub it off as much as possible while trying not to damage the foam. In so doing you will probably "erase" some of the grid in the middle. I still feel like overall it's a decent bargain, but am frustrated at how unnecessary this problem is since it would be so easy to fix.

Great with a couple of small issues
The squares fit together as advertised, however, there was a slight odor and a sticky place in the center of each square where the label was attached. I have sprayed fabric freshener on the squares in hopes of removing the odor but so far I can still smell it. The sticky spot, though small, is exactly in the center of each block and so far I have been unable to remove it. This may cause a problem in the future if the item I am blocking sticks to the square. Price was right and shipping was excellent.

The product itself is wonderful,however there is a large sticker on it and when removed it leaves a big sticky spot of glue residue that will never come off (I have tried everything) and it will stick to your crochet and attract dirt,hair, etc. It pretty much ruins the product.
