I was looking for a bed that was safe for my son thats 2 almost 3. Thought i give this bed a chance. There were no reviews on here so i am writing the first one. The rails on the side are perfect. I feel they are just long enough for me to not worry that he could possibly fall out. It looks super nice. The quality or the wood is very good. It took my husband about 2 hours to finish it. I helped a litlle bit but you could do this alone. Its very sturdy as well. The kids already jumped ok it a few times amd its still fine. I definitely recommend this bed when you are making a transition from crib to toddler bed!
