Fast and easy

It was so fast and easy to put together only thing I wished it had 1 more step and that's because my bed is on the floor not on bed rails.

May work for some but hasn't for me

This is very lightweight plastic and did not come with any skid protection pads. If you are using it on carpet, great, but on any hardwood or vinyl type floor it slides easily making it useless to a cat or dog trying to propel themselves up onto a bed or sofa. I ended up buying self-adhesive anti-skid pads to put on the bottom. The cover is is adequate, but they are very short (won't get your pet up to the top edge of a bed or sofa). I was only hoping to get my cat part way up - she can still jump up but not as high as she used to. The problem is she won't use these steps at all, nor will my other three cats. I'm not sure if the dark fabric makes it hard for her to see where each step is or if she just doesn't understand how to use them to help her get on the bed. Or if she just doesn't get steps - she hasn't had to climb steps before. Whatever the problem I think a single platform with a wider place for her to jump up onto might have worked better.
