If you are looking for best tire for your money...this is it.

I am currently about 10,000 miles into my second set of AT3's. I love them. Living in the middle of PA we have all kinds of different terrain from snow, rain, ice, sleet, sand, mud, clay, gravel, swamp. Just a little bit of everything. With these tires I have never been concerned with whether or not I would make it. I put a around 40k on my first set. Would have been more but I destroyed 2 tires ripping a stump out of a driveway. So I bought a set of 4. These tires never let me down. No matter what I throw at them they deliver. When you spend almost $1,000 for tires you have to wonder if you "got a good deal" personally these tires never made me ask that question.

Nothing But Coopers

I have been running cooper tires since the mid 60's, living back east in the snow belt they seem to be the best tires on the road even back than... With snow and ice not to over look pot holes up the butt, they always took a licking and kept on ticking... Today I get them rotated and balanced every 5000 miles like clock work...... Now living the west coast and a lot older, I still run and trust cooper tires on all my cars and trucks... I have 40 grand on mine on my gmc sierra all terrain and a lot of high speed freeway driving, they have done a awesome job for me so far.... Ride great at 35lbs with nitrogen in them, handle the same, and even pulling my boat or travel trailers they are firm, and steady even with the traction control off... I did a tread depth check today, and I am amazed that they still have 11 and 12/32 across the 4 tires... Not bad for tires that roll over 125mph or pull trailers like I do... They grip pretty descent in hard rain, sand and snow doesn't bother them, and I like the fact that they are still quiet at all speeds and road suffices... I don't expect to get 100,000 miles with them but I'd never run my tires that long anyway, after 50% wear I start looking to replace all my tires.... My tire shop manager tells me I throw away better tires than most people run on their cars as a rule... They hold their tire pressures really good too......

Longest lasting tire I've ever owned

I put a set of 265/75/16 A/T3s on my Chevrolet K1500 at 161,000 miles thinking they would be the last set before the truck died. At 267,000 miles I replaced the A/T3s. I probably could have gotten another 5,000 miles out of them, but I was about to put 4,000 miles on them on a hunting trip out west. Yep, I got 106,000 miles out of one set, the tire dealer I buy from did a double take on the work orders mileages. It pays to rotate every 5,000 miles, check the tire pressure often, and don't abuse your equipment. I use the truck for commuting, towing my boat or camper and for off road hunting. Waiting to see which wears out first- the tires or the truck.
