The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial-grade mill finish aluminum that will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The awning fabric is woven out of the Beauty-Mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and has resistant coatings to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent mildew and soil buildup, and (3) maintain a water resistant barrier allows for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric. This awning was described as being White/Blue Stripe. Unfortunately for me, the entire background is gray. Yes, it has blue and white stripes, but gray does not match my house. Wish the description would have listed all the colors, especially the main color of gray.
