Ok, if you’re reading reviews then you need a good rake comb and this is it!!!! I am a dog trainer and been grooming my massive rough coat Chow Chows I’ve owned for 30 years. My professional rake undercoat brush finally broke after 22 years and I was desperate for another one! I do NOT like the double row rake combs and if I only help one person then I will have succeeded. Double rows pull too much and although they’re double rowed they do NOT work like this single row one! It’s so hard to find SINGLE row Rake brushes like this one is! It’s all one piece hard durable plastic like my last one that lasted me 22 years and through 6 Chow Chows! I have no doubt this one will last either! I’m impressed with the quality of it and although I wished it had angeles grip handle like my last one it’s got rubber cushioning on the top of it where your fingers go so it’s not bad. Chows have dense almost triple coats and if your dog has any less hair than a Chow then BUY THIS!!! Your good!! Seriously happy to have found a high quality, one piece rake comb with a SINGLE row!!! I may buy another. Remember with grooming a long haired dog especially single rows are better than double and omits the snagging and pulling. This brush is phenomenal!!!!!!
