My almost 17 year old kitty has been having issues with urinary tract infections for over a year. This past February I didn't think she was going to make it. She got down to 4 lbs, very weak, no appetite. We gave her antibiotics that cleared up the infection but we still had a hard time getting her to eat. I got her the Iams for Seniors aobut 3 weeks ago and she absolutely loves it! She almost climbed in the bag when I opened it. She is up to 5 lbs now and is almost back to her old self. Up on the bathroom vanity to drink water straight from the faucet. She hasn't done that for almost 8 months. Bright eyed, full of energy.
