Kilner Glass Fridge Drink Dispenser

Tried to screw the lid on many different times and it leaked each time. Pretty important for it to hold water since the lid and spout are on the side. Should have a better seal or put the lid on the top.

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I got an entirely unuseable dispenser. There needs to be good quality testing for a jar that sits sideways- the spigot needs to seal, and the jar lid needs to be water-tight. Since it's pretty expensive, and manufactured by a popular mason jar brand, I assumed that the design would work, even with it's obvious potential to fail. On mine, the lid would not screw on correctly- after a few turns it would suddenly pop up. I tried it anyway, and ended up with a wet floor. Either the cap threads or the jar threads are not the correct size, I think. Due to the current lockdown, I really can't return it and hope for a new one that works, but if you are buying this at a later time, maybe that is feasible.
