The Protalwell black fireproof cover with magnets fits my gas fireplace opening perfectly, looks nice, and stays in place with the magnets that were already in place within this cover's edges. Nothing for me to assemble. I just unfolded the cover and placed this cover's edges on the black metal framework of my fireplace's opening within two minutes. It has already proven its effectiveness. Magnet Fireplace Cover

Our wood burning - large opening fireplace is in the basement. It does have a draft to it and is hard to keep the basement warm. The day I put the Magnet Fireplace Cover on within an hour you could tell the difference temperature wise in the basement. The cover is WAY heavier and thicker than I thought, the magnets are holding wonderfully and I was delighted to see that velcro was added in the package. I worried about the weight and if the magnets would hold but they are doing fabulously . . . nice to know I have a back up if something happens.
