I have long curly hair, half way down back. This product is a game changer. I use it after the Morrocanoil Curl Cream.
Run a wet hair brush through hair, gently removing tangles. Add cream first. Then cover in bonnet for 30 mins.
Then afterward, remove cap, use a good amount of the mousse (5 pumps for longer hair) work through with fingers, working in back and sides, staying away from roots. Scrunch into ends evenly all over. Let air dry! Don't touch it! Your hair will dry with the most amazing curls!
Since my hair is longer, after it is almost dry, I put it up in a messy bun and leave it there for a few hours with a tele tie or something that won't damage hair or leave a crease.
Pull down and use a bit of medium hold hair spray like Tressame brand. Scrunch with fingers, tease a little in back with a comb or pick. It is what I always used to keep my curl. Even spraying the roots with a little dry shampoo at the root, wait five mins, then using fingers again, gently rub into scalp. This will help remove any oil or product at root giving you a little volume. Your hair will stay curly for days!
This is how I have maintained my curly hair and helped it grow nearly to my waist! I dumped the hot tool, even hair dryer. Embrace your curls! Curly haired girls (and guys) know we can't brush our curls, or we will look like a frizz ball! I hope this helps someone!
