So the item was totally sheer and see through so my daughter had to wear pants underneath and a shirt. It was warm this year for Halloween but because the fabric was so thin, it was fine with the clothes underneath. You step into the costume and it zips up as a one piece so be prepared for that come potty time. The hood did not stay on her head because the fabric was thin. It would just fly off when she started running around. It was a one time wear item.
