Old school fun!

This game makes me so nostalgic! When I was in elementary school we would fight over the Oregon Trail floppy disc! Computer lab was always about getting the one disc they had of this game first. It was so much fun! This handheld version perfectly captures the old version! It is really an exact replica. Complete with tiny floppy disc reset button! The gameplay and graphics are identical to the original and I promise you won't know the difference! It transported me back on time almost. I was so focused on the game and getting everyone through the trail safely that I forgot everything else! It is so much fun! I wish my kids were old enough to play. It is simple to play but very entertaining. It is small enough to travel with and simply made. I highly recommend it! Thanks for bringing back this awesome part of my childhood!

OT is the OG

The OT is the OG as far as I'm concerned. I finally get to finish my games, unlike when I was in third grade computer lab and ran out of time. Anyone complaining about the graphics probably doesn't remember this on the Apple IIGS mainframe screens. This is a step up.

A blast from the past

The Oregon Trail Electronic Handheld Game is so much fun and reminds me of the good old days. This game can teach you math and other things to learn. It's about the adventure of what people had to go through back in 1848 to make it to the destination. The game can now be held in your hand as you play and it's kinda like holding a game boy. The graphics of the game still look the same as it did when I played it as a kid. The game console looks like an old Apple computer and the part where the floppy disk would go is how you turn it on and off. I liked that it came with battires so you can play it right out of the box. It also has volume control and that's a plus because this small device is very loud. The screen is on the small side considering how big the buttons and stuff are but it's still very clear. One the back side the battires are help in with screw's. When you are done with the game there is a safe button so you don't have to worry about losing what you have already done, and at first I didn't know that and lost everything. It comes with an instruction manual to tell you the basics of it, but the game it's self is pretty straight forward. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone young or old, it's fun to play.
