This Shop Line Kit will replace part of your exhaust system with a mandrel bend performance dual exhaust system on your 1969-1972 Chevrolet GMC Blazer, Carryall, Jimmy, Suburban or Yukon application. All Wheel Bases. 2WD only. 8 cyl (needs two intermediate pipes on either side of the motor). Our Kits will give your SUV the look, sound and performance you have been searching for!!
This side exit kit will come out under the bed side behind the rear tires on each side of the SUV.
9 2.5 inch saddle clamps and 4 insulated rubber hangers
This kit has the standard size 2.5 inch O.D. tail pipes are included.
Higher flowing and longer lasting mandrel bend pipe is included.
The Double Wall weld on tips are polished stainless steel 5" long and 4" round . They require a standard wire feed mig welder with regular mild steel wire. A special welder is not required.
Two Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers are included. Flowmaster's FlowFX series mufflers deliver a moderate performance tone for the enthusiast looking for an exhaust note that is different from the "chambered" muffler sound. The interior features a large 3.00-inch "straight-through" stainless steel perforated core, surrounded with high-temperature sound absorption materials delivering a deep traditional mellow tone. The internal flow design is reversible, so the muffler can be installed in either direction to best suit the vehicle application and offsets needed. Features include fully MIG-welded "bright" 409 stainless steel construction with the FlowFX logo embossed on both sides of the case. The FlowFX line of mufflers is perfect for the person looking for a show quality performance muffler at an economical price point and in a compact sized case.
Please note: This system is designed to replace your factory OEM exhaust starting from the crossmember back. YOU MAY NEED TO SUPPLY AN ADAPTER FOR THE 2.5" PIPES THAT CONNECT TO THE FACTORY INTERMEDIATE PIPES. If your exhaust has been replaced or modified previously fabrication to the existing exhaust on your SUV may be necessary for the proper installation of our kit.
SUVs with modified suspension or body lifts may also require fabrication of the exhaust or SUV for the proper installation of our kit.
