Very accurate.

I had one very similar and it laster about 45 years before giving out. This one is much easier to set up and displays more information. The outside unit screws into the surface and batteries are replaced in the front. My other one you had to take down the unit and the batteries were in the back. This one is very accurate and the display is much easier to read. It is worth every penny spent on it.
