Super comfortable and weighted nicely for chopping vegetables, this is a very good cleaver for every day food prep. The sculpted handle is extremely popular among a wide range of people. The quality stamped steel will hold an edge and stand up to daily use. Hand was to keep it looking new.

Lightweight and versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have many J.A. Henckels knives and sets. My Chinese meat cleaver finally gave out and chipped after almost 20 years. I decided to try this one. The price was not cheap but, knowing I have other products from them, I trusted it would be another quality product. And, so far, it is holding up well for cutting watermelon, meat, chicken, slicing veggies. I hope it lasts for 20 years too!
