I got this for my daughter as a princess dress. She is a small 6 year old (40 lbs) and the size 7 fit nicely with a little room to grow. She said it was a little itchy but an undershirt solved that issue. The furry shrug is an adorable addition. The dress is very fancy, frilly, and gold. She loves it and I'm sure it will get lots of wear.
