We bought this because it was the match for my sons Easton helmet. It went on easy and looks great. He got hit several times in he head and shoulder this past year. This gave him the confidence to step in and hit the ball. He went 5-6 with 2 walks, hit by a pitch and one strike out this past weekend. Did the trick for him!

Perfect fit and color match

This is an add-on face protector for the Easton Z5 helmets. Provides some additional protection as the players get older and the pitches get faster. It was probably created because Easton knew they could market to nervous parents, haha. Anyway, the fit and color match is spot on, easy to install with a Philips screwdriver. There is Loctite compound on the included hardware should there shouldn't be much loosening, but will probably checked over the course of the season. Pricing seems decent for some additional piece of mind. I would expect with proper care it should last as long as the helmet.

fits easton z5 helmets perfectly

I bought a bunch to go with the z5 helmets we are using for our travel team this year, they were easy to install and durable. they only come in a matte finish so if the helmet is glossy like we got they color math is off a little bit due to the sheen
