Difficult to install wire

this is not a real well designed product. We had 6 gauge wire and it was very difficult to get the clamps to hold the wire. Took many attempts. And if you loosen the screws to try to widen the openings, the clamps fall apart and you must disassemble the product to reinstall them. And we had to take one leg off to get it installed in the plug. You are much further ahead to buy a pre-wired plug and use butt connectors. This cost me an afternoon of fishing.
