LOVE this movie!

This movie won an Oscar for best screen play. It's cute, witty, extraordinary, and Woody Allen does not appear in it. I don't always like his movies, but this one is a wonderful exception. I lent my first one to someone who never returned it, so this is my second purchase.

I don't think you have to be a big Woody Allen fan to love this movie. If you love old fashioned romance mixed with quirkyness, sweet laughs (as opposed to sick,toilet humor), and a little bit of a history and art lesson; you'll love. Generally, I can't abide That Owen guy, but he's very good in this. But then; Woody's always been good at getting great performances from his actors. He also does something many directors can't: He used Paris as a character. If you love that city, you'll love this movie.

Delightful!

Yes..that is a good word for this movie. I have seen it 7 times, and am purchasing the DVD to add to my collection. A lovely story, brilliant concept, likeable characters and actors. Owen Wilson is engaging! The cinematography is breathtaking, as are the set designs and costumes, along with a great soundtrack. Woody hit this one out of the park. If you need an escape...then this movie should do it for you. Make sure the phone is turned off...no interruptions! Just sit back and enjoy!
