Great rod.
I bought 2 ultra lites and 2 Med Heavy combos. The Ultras for panfishing and the Med Heavy for Northern Pike. My wife got em for me for Christmas. I haven't used these yet, but I ordered them because I bought a Med Heavy last spring and love it. Nice strong rod with a sensitive tip. My wife also has an Ugly Stick and loves it. Can't wait get out after the ice has melted to give em a try. Will follow up with the review then.

I got this combo about 3 weeks ago and have been going fishing about every week since. The rod has really great sensitivity and the red and black color combo looks sweet! The reel itself is somewhere between a cheap reel and a nice one on the slightly upper end, so its pretty decent. I loaded it up with expensive line and out of maybe 400 casts it only bird-nested once but the line was also brand new and needed to be stretched. Caught lots of bass, no problem.
