Additionally, for maximum versatility, these beds can be unstacked to transform into three separate free standing twin beds. Each piece is built from sturdy, built-to-last materials. Ships in two boxes. Adult two person assembly required.
- Crafted from solid hardwoods and plywood, an engineered wood composite known for its sturdiness and resilience. Kiln-dried solid wood frame with added corner blocking for strength and durability
- Eight slats create the foundation of each bunk bed. No need for Bunkie Boards or box springs.

My twin bed we ordered was a little short by a couple inches not sure how much longer a twin xl is but may recommend that as a better snug fit
