Stripper

The gears should be metal. On the Mini Convergence any uncontrolled landing will strip the ONE gear. Horizon should sell the gear set instead of backordering a $13.00 servo. I have 4 servos and I just lost another one. The two motor servos are very prone to a stripped gear. I have asked Horizon to sell these gears as Futaba does, but nothing yet. Just wait in the backorder line.

Customer service is awesome, servo not so much

Replaced this servo 3 times with less than an hour of flight time on the aircraft. All 3 malfunctions were caused by the same plastic gear breaking at the exact same place( nose gear/rudder servo). Customer service has so far replaced the servo but for how much longer? Looking for a metal geared micro servo to replace this servo cause I’m missing all the good days of flying before the snow starts flying here in the north.
