Rocky Womens Original Ride Flx Embroidered Pull On Waterproof Soft Toe

It took me a long time trying to decide on boots. I ordered a pair of Ariats that look similar to these Rocky boots and I hated them. They were so uncomfortable. I sold them and went with the Rocky's and I couldn't be happier. They are so light weight and easy on and off and so comfortable! I hope they hold up well !

I purchased these boots in April after a long few weeks of scouring the internet for the right Women's work boot, which was extremely hard to find. Not only were cowboy boots for women scarcely meant for work, but it was extremely hard to find anything waterproof. A huge pet peeve I also had about almost all of the women's boots out there was the design, pink or purple with showy designs. I had just wanted a simple brown boot that could hold up and take a beating. Alas, I had come across these boots and they were a savior. They were waterproof, good tread, and a nice simple design. You will want go one size down from your original size as they run pretty large. The color of the boot is inaccurate, it's definitely a more darker and duller brown then shown in the picture which I personally liked better then the picture color. The boots are pretty heavy but nothing you can't get used to, and very stiff when I first got them. There will be a hefty break-in time before these start to feel comfortable but I advise you don't give up on them. So far the waterproofing had worked great, I have gotten them absolutely soaked and so far had no leaks. The water does stain the leather a bit but it never really bothered me. I also appreciate the shallow tread so the cow droppings or mud is easier to clean out. It took me a while to get used to the boots, as i said because of their stiffness my heal kept slipping out and the leather kept digging into my foot, but now they fit perfectly and comfortably. As for the comfort of the sole, it's not fantastic, my feet do start to hurt after a few hours on them but take that with a grain of salt as I've never had a shoe that doesn't hurt my feet. The inside of the sole is thin and has started to rip and curl up. I have put these boots through a great deal and are still holding up pretty well, aside from the inside I am guessing the first thing to go will be the attachment of the sole to the boot but so far no problems. Super long story short, hands down the best women western work boots out there, I strongly recommend.
