Cell yes, sending unit no....

The cell itself is nice construction, but don't depend on the sending unit. I have the 12 gal cell with 2" sump, with 5 gals of fuel, my gas gauge read empty. I checked the ohms and it was only 12.3 which is close to an 1/8 tank. Called Jaz and was told this is normal..... Now I need to spend another $100 to buy the correct length sending unit.
