It works by releasing organic dipeptides (proteins) into the soil to prevent weed seeds from establishing. Liquid corn gluten is a concentrated patented formula which works on weeds such as dandelions, crabgrass, and clover. To apply simply attach your hose to the included hose-end sprayer attachment, shake well and turn the dial to the "on" position.     Consistency is key to success

    This is a product whose effect compounds with regular use. Getting a good early start on spring helps. Using it 3-4 times in the first season also helps. 2-3 times a year after that (I prefer 3). If you pay a commercial company their (now obscene) 8 applications of pesticide, you'll pay far more financially and health-wise to yourself and the planet. I've had great luck with continued and faithful use. That is the key. This instant gratification at any cost to ourselves and the environment is a heavier price to pay if you ask me. If you research online you'll find more and more very efficient products every year that are safe. Keep looking and researching and it will pay off. I assume that's why your looking at this product as a potential. Good luck.
