Premium, non-GMO Black Eyed Susan Seeds from The Old Farmer's Almanac have high germination rates and are proudly sourced from American farms.

Black-Eyed Susan is easy to grow and has a wildflower habit. Direct sow by broadcasting, over a 10 sq ft area, outdoors after the last frost when the temperatures are reliably above 65 F. Rake gently and evenly, lightly tamping seeds into moist, organically rich, well-drained soil in full sun.
Keep seedlings moist with gentle watering or misting and transition to minimal watering over time. Cut back spent foliage, leaves and blooms after flowering to prolong vitality into the fall.
Butterflies & Bees love Black-Eyed Susans (rudbeckia) and will flit among the flowers carrying pollen as they go. When left in the garden to flower and seed, rudbeckia will come back naturally year after year.
