Owned one before on a 40 HP Honda and it worked very well. On this 20HP Mercury I get out of the hole much sooner, plane out, and go 3 mph faster, even with a 2nd person in the boat. The paper template is a joke as it moves, so put the unit onthe motor and made the hole marks myself. Glad I put it on!

Awesome Foil

I used the no drill adapter kit and really tightened it down securely. After a couple of higher speed runs the foil shifted? I retightened everything after realignment and I will see how it works out? Reluctant to drill holes in the aluminum fin on my new Tohatsu 25 hp motor and have it break! Also thought it might weaken the area and if it didn't work I didn't want holes in a new motor? Anyway...... besides the slipping of the foil , which hopefully will be resolved by torqing the adapter down tighter I'm very pleased! My inflatable boat which rode bow high for 20 yards before settling down on a level plane instantly jumped up and flattened out! Amazing performance! Might be slightly slower top speed but a far drier ride than before do to less water being kicked out from my transom area! Kraig K

Five Star Product, SE200

I bought a new Yamaha 15 HP outboard for a 14 foot Duro Boat. The outboard didn't have enough power to get the boat into a plane. The reason it wouldn't plane is due to my weight, I'm "Big Boy". My weight plus the full gas can, battery and other gear at the rear of the boat prevented the boat from achieving plane. After adding the SE Sport 200 and relocating the battery to the front, the boat jumps to plane, even at half throttle. I would highly recommend one for your boat.
