It's very good at a good price

While it's not the best Italian roast, it is the best that you'll find at a reasonable price for your everyday coffee. It's also better than the espresso roast varieties you'll find at this price. For espressos and Americanos I use Starbucks espresso roast.

Unexpectedly great coffee to start the day!

I needed to change coffee brands. I make coffee in my study around dawn every morning and enjoy it while I do my Internet work and read the news. Lately the coffee I had been drinking for several years just tasted sort of flat....and worse: I was drinkiing more of it than I should. So I changed up and tried Barrie House, hauling out my old grinder so I'd grind my coffee each morning. Immediately I noticed the tremendous difference. I found that one or two cups were completely satisfying, the bold flavor and aroma totally different than that which I had before. Now I drink MUCH less coffee and feel much better. This is a great coffee!
