At 75, I've owned many grills over the years but never a griddle. Preparing for my backyard griddle to be delivered and converted to natural gas, I watched dozens of online videos; everything from seasoning the surface and care and maintenance, to best tested recipes for fried rice. Backstone Griddle Seasoning was highly recommended in many videos. I carefully watched exactly how to use it to maximum benefit. Suffice to say now that I was extremely pleased with how easy it was to season my new griddle, and how well it is performing since. It's been almost a month, and I am griddling at least 3x a week.
