Practical and stylish

I had this fixture installed when I had my bathroom remodeled with a large shower with a built in bench. I was planning ahead for when someone using the shower might need to sit. This shower fixture with the slide bar and long hose fit the bill perfectly. For me, since I'm relatively tall, I keep the shower head adjusted to the top of the bar and it's just right. I picked this particular fixture because I really liked the style and look of the shower head and it was available in Champagne Bronze which I find to be a warm and beautiful color. The reason I marked it down a little on quality is that after about a year the shower head started leaking. However, Delta stood behind their product and immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. It works wonderfully, better than the first one ever did, so I think that first one was probably defective from the get-go. I'm on well water, so don't have high water pressure, but this shower gives a good, strong flow. I'm very happy with it and would certainly recommend it.

Easy to install.

I really like this. have it in junction with a larger head with a Delta 3 setting valve. Other reviews say the hose twists, well that's just installer error. Common sence will fix this. If the hose is twisted, loosen the nut on the handheld, untwist the hose. While holding the hose in position tighten the nut with out letting the hose twist. Wala, its fixed. I installed this during a remodel, I used the EL, and mounted it low in the shower. Why, So it will reach the other end of the shower for cleaning and to wash the dog when he gets in with me. For the others that complain about the head being Plastic. WELL DA, if it was metal you would have a great chance of having a HOT handle. Delta did a great job with this material. Delta is protecting you and then you complain. Jees, you should thank them everyday. Its easy to adjust up and down, you can turn the head left or right. Up to spray out and down to spray your lower back.

Would be great if came with a quality hose

The overall unit is good however the product name indicates that this is a "Premium" product and it would be if not for the generic plastic hose. The hose is unmanageable and should not be part of this or any other Delta package. To make this a premium product you will need to order a Delta heavy duty stretchable metal hose in the proper finish to match your personal shower assembly.

With a curly Ultraflex hose we've found that you can straighten it out fairly well by soaking it in hot water for about 20 minutes, stretching it out and pinning the ends down until it cools down.
